Take the Epson SX400 print speed for example, Epson claim it capable of 34pppm which is amazingly fast for an inkjet printer, but this figure relates to printing in draft quality where the print quality is barely readable and not suitable for any type of document. Increase the quality decreases speed considerable so in the real world the SX400 is not capable of 34ppm. This seems to be only thing Epson have exaggerated about as the rest of the SX400 functions are impressive, the print and scan quality are excellent and the scanner is fats too. First impressions of the SX400 are that it’s a good all rounder with a lot to offer and a reasonable price tag.
